I really believe life is precious. You can easily only live one life, unfortunately. Death, can sweep you away in an instant. Some individuals just allow it to happen, but others are simply too stubborn to give up. A person is had by me within my life who has experienced this, along side myself.

In late January of the past year, 2009, I experienced a traumatic experience. My mother was driving my buddy, me, and my brothers to my dad’s house. My brother that is youngest, my buddy, and I also, were within the backseat and my eldest brother was in the passenger seat. My pal, my buddy, and I were joking around and laughing when you look at the backseat, when out of the blue, the world went black. I opened my eyes moments later only to see my mother crying helplessly and weakly for help. I looked to my left, where my friend was, she was calling on her mother, saying “I want my mom, where is my mom?” and complaining that her shoulder hurt. Then I looked to my right, and saw my little brother crying, and breathing harshly and“Mom that is saying up, Mom. ” I, felt like crying but could not, I experienced to keep my brother and my pal, that are both two years younger than me, calm. My brother that is eldest, surprisingly was fine. He asked me if I became alright, and I responded by saying, my head hurts. My cousin suddenly looked over the side of my face, and said “Jade put your gloves on your own face.” I became wondering why so of course it was done by me, then looked down inside my glove, and then realize that my head was bleeding. It absolutely wasn’t painful though, it had been just, numb. I kept pressure on my head, still using my glove. Then, I heard my eldest brother say, “Get from the car.” First my friend walked out, followed by myself, and my younger brother walked off to the other side.

Whenever we were fully out of the motor car, my mom was still trapped inside. Her door was in fact caved in and she was unable to move. I shed a tear, then quickly ran across the now, very backed up intersection, to your gas station over the way. There is a college boy that is aged there, on a cell phone, seemingly calling 911. I stood there for an additional, him hang up until I saw. I said politely “Can you please call my father?” He responded by saying, “Of course, sweetie, of course, what’s the number?” I quickly told him in which he dialed straight away. I heard my father’s deep voice that is soothing “Hello?” “Yes, hello I am…” he said his name, “ and I am standing only at the intersection of 6th street and Walnut with your daughter, her mother and siblings have just experienced a rather bad car accident” said the man. “ I would be there right away” I heard my father say. A police officer walked up to us and told us that it was too cold to be standing outside, and rushed us to his car.

My brothers, my buddy and I were sitting into the police car when we suddenly saw my father sprinting toward my mother’s car and seeking around, obviously wondering where we had been. The doors don’t open from inside in a police car, therefore I tapped regarding the window, directing toward my brother who had been standing outside, and told him to start the door. He company opened the door, and then I told him that my dad was there, I spotted him again, then ran into his arms. Only at that true point, there were firefighters prying my mother’s car door open, and carrying her out on a stretcher. I watched given that ambulance rushed her away, began to cry, and then realized that my little brother was standing right close to me. He had been not breathing well along with his face was beat red. My little brother is an asthmatic, and so I immediately alerted a medic.

Just then, a medic walked as much as me, and started initially to clean alcohol rub to my face. She then put a cotton bandage regarding the relative side of my eye. The cut had not been as bad as all of the blood made it look. The physician then told me to go find my brothers then follow her into the ambulance.

After we were within the ambulance, one of the medics inside put my little brother on a breathing machine, which basically, was just helping him to breathe better and to get oxygen back into his lungs. My buddy and I also were on a ledge seat by the window and my brother that is oldest was sitting on a chair into the back, and my father was sitting in advance with the person driving the ambulance.

We quickly arrived in the hospital where we were each assigned a room, my pal and I also were in an area together, and my brothers were each within their rooms that are own.

If we could go see my mom and she said we could after we had all been released to go, I asked the nurse. We went into my mom’s room on the recovery floor. She had a bloody lip and told us that she cracked her pelvic bone, and broke several of her ribs.

This is how I realized which you don’t know simply how much you love someone, until they have been fighting for their life just so they can live to visit your face everyday.

My mom is my idol. She’s got fought on her life in order to stay in mine and my siblings’. She’s got dumped guys she really liked, through it the most because she knows that when things are real bad, we are the ones that help her get. She’s got even gone days without eating in order that we could eat.

I turn to my mom for everything, and am hoping she will be around for a long time.

Death, can sweep you away right away. Some people just allow it happen, but others are only too stubborn to quit.
